The Hayter BCL2250-RS Petrol Brushcutter is driven by a powerful Maruyama two-stroke engine which is equipped with their effort-saving reverse-start system. This high-quality engine has a die-cast clutch with a fibrous lining for minimum heat build-up & wear; & a polished, solid-steel drive-shaft for optimum low-end torque transfer. The BCL2250 can be used with a nylon-line head for lighter-duty trimming, or a metal cutter-blade for the clearance of dense established growth. Other features include a three-bearing gear-case which has been created to withstand the demands of intensive use; & high- & low-frequency anti-vibration mounts on both the clutch & handle, which combine to greatly reduce operator fatigue.
